For sealing a PCR 8-tube strip or one row of a 96-well plate. Precision cut to a smaller dimension for sealing one PCR 8-tube strip or a single row of a 96-well PCR or deep-well storage plate whenever rows must be selectively protected or accessed. FoilStrips remove easily with no splash back as can occur with strip-caps. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Each sheet contains 6 strips on a continuous liner for ease of use. Pierceable with a pipet tip or robotic probe for direct sample recovery. 2.0mil aluminum foil removes easily without tearing. (300 per PK)

Eliminates the “edge effect” which can occur with plate lids (e.g. greater evaporation in the outside plate wells). Provides a secure seal and is easy to remove. Precision cut to a smaller dimension to seal a single 8-well row of a 96-well plate or an ELISA strip-well plate. Each sheet contains 8 FilmStrips on a continuous backing liner for ease of use. FilmStrips can be used to selectively cover one row of a plate to prevent accidental pipetting or to re-seal rows that have been pierced. 2.0mil polypropylene film features good clarity and easy handling. Designed to facilitate air and CO2 exchange. Pore size from 10µm to 50µm. Moisture vapor transmission rate = 4,200g/m²/24hr. For sample identification and plate labeling. Each end-tab features a colored dot and white wring area. An inscribed color-coded end-tab can be removed and pasted into a laboratory notebook while the other remains on the plate for identification. The film sheet can be removed from the plate without disturbing the identification label due to the finely perforated end-tabs. Provides a secure seal and is easy to remove. AlumaSeal II is a soft non-permeable aluminum foil with a strong, medical-grade acrylic adhesive. Easy-to-pierce for direct sample recovery. Has less tendency to roll back on itself when removing the backing paper. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Excellent chemical resistance (e.g. DMSO). AbsorbMax is a black vinyl film that can be applied to either the top or bottom of the black plate. Minimizes background fluorescence and cross talk between plate wells. Ideal as a back seal for black plates with clear well bottoms for top reading measurements. Absorbs stray light, reducing the background caused by light scatter.
