Roll-Seal AeraSeal features a hydrophobic, gas permeable membrane with a medical grade, non-cytotoxic adhesive. The porous membrane consists of layers of heat welded rayon fibers. Pore size from 10µm to 50µm. Moisture vapor transmission rate = 4,200g/m²/24hr. Easy-to-pierce with serological pipets and pipet tips for direct sample recovery. X-Pierce film is designed for short-term processing and storage of samples that require multiple access to wells by pipet tips or robotic probes. Provides easy access without pipet tip coring or adhesive fouling. A pre-cut “X” over each well creates bendable flaps that provide sample access without coring or adhesive fouling of tips or probes. Ideal for COVID-19 sample collection in deep-well plates using swabs. Printed circles aid in the alignment of the film to the plate. Printed alphanumerics identify each well of a 96-well plate. For sample identification and plate labeling. Each end-tab features a colored dot and white wring area. An inscribed color-coded end-tab can be removed and pasted into a laboratory notebook while the other remains on the plate for identification. The film sheet can be removed from the plate without disturbing the identification label due to the finely perforated end-tabs. Provides a secure seal and is easy to remove. Self-standing, non-slip supports hold pre-scored foil roll securely in place for quick and easy dispensing. An alternative to the plate roller for pressing films to assure a secure uniform seal around all wells on 96-well, 384-well, and 1536-well plates. These paddles are recommeded for sealing films on raised rim plates. (50 per PK)
