Made in the USA, these desiccator cabinets have air-tight doors that need no lubrication. Sliding perforated shelves for easy access; transparent acrylic walls, for see-thru storage. These autoclavable desiccators are made of polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC) and can hold a vacuum up to 740mm Hg for 24 hours without any greasing. Autoclavable at 120°C for 15 minutes. The top dome, molded in rigid and transparent PC, gives a crystal-clear view of the sample. The knurled knob on the top provides easy handling of the dome. The transparent PC bottom provides increased viewing clarity. An internal groove on the flange holds the silicon rubber O-ring. The PP stopcock has a self-lubricating PTFE plug. The three-way plug opens to create a vacuum, closes to hold a vacuum, and opens again to release a vacuum. (1 per EA)

These clear non-vacuum desiccators are manufactured from borosilicate glass and include a borosilicate glass lid with a molded-in knob. Clear glass provides excellent visibility and can be autoclaved. The rims of the desiccator and lid are ground glass and require greasing before use to create an air-tight seal. Also includes a perforated porcelain desiccator plate that fits onto a ridge above the lower chamber. A standard drying agent such as silica or anhydrous calcium chloride can be positioned in the lower chamber. (1 per EA)
