Histo Plas™ Capsettes™ and Uni-Capsettes™ provide a modular, organized means for safe and consistent processing, embedding, sectioning and storage of specimen samples. Available in 16 colors which provide a convenient means of separating surgical and autopsy cases, institutions, pathologist, etc. Both the Histo Plas Capsettes and UniCapsettes are accepted by all of the current automatic cassette labelers. Cost effective, yet quality engineered to remain sealed during processing. Strategically designed slots allow for efficient solvent flow and drainage, Histo Plas Capsettes and Uni-Capsettes will not float during processing. Our rigid design eliminates undersized cassettes during sectioning. Proprietary acetyl copolymer plastic is utilized to resist heat, solvents, decalcifying solutions, and problems associated with microwave processing. Histo Plas Capsettes and Uni-Capsettes will fit standard stainless steel, and disposable plastic base molds. Uni-Capsettes are sold in packages of 500 disposable plastic tops and (500 specimen) bottoms. Technologists no longer need to struggle with detachment of the lid during embedding. (500 per PK)

For a more economical purchase, the Histo Plas™ disposable, polypropylene Tissue Processing Capsule is the answer. The one piece unit is hinged, perfectly aligned and easy to use. Simply place the tissue in the Capsule and press the cover down to lock securely. The open mesh construction affords maximum fluid exchange during processing and the durable marking surface assures permanent identification. To embed from the capsule we recommend the tissue Embedding Ring system. (500 per PK)

We are proud to introduce a disposable plastic clip which is designed as a replacement for metal clips. As with the metal clips, the plastic clips hold the cytology funnels snuggly against the microscope slide during the centrifugation process. The plastic clips are disposable and eliminate the time and labor required to sanitize the metal clips after each use.
