Bell-ennium Process Magnetic Stirrers are designed for both cell cultures in spinner flasks as well as for general laboratory procedures requiring the use of magnetic stirring equipment. The Front-End models are designed to position so that one flask is positioned behind the other, minimizing the width of the stirrer for limited space work areas. Bell-ennium stirrers feature brushless maintenance free DC motors with drive assemblies designed for quiet operation. The Bellco Process Controlled Bottom Drive Roller Apparatus holds up to 50 (see specifications below) full size glass or plastic roller bottles (110 to 120 mm diameter and up to 510 mm in length). The unit features a brushless DC motor and controller that operate at bottle speeds ranging from 0.3 to 9.0 rpm with the ability to select clockwise or counter clockwise direction. Units feature brushless, maintenance-free DC motors with drive assemblies designed for quiet operation. Four corner bumpers and two locking castors (on the front wheel positions) are also provided. Rollers are easily removed for replacement by using the special tool provided with each unit. Bellco Magnetic Stirrers are specifically designed for growing both mammalian and bacterial cultures where minimal heat transfer from the magnetic stirrer to the culture vessel is essential. They are ideal for tissue cultures grown in spinner flasks. Bellco incorporates low wattage DC motors to reduce stirrer heat up. Independent power and speed controls allow unit to maintain a speed setting when switched on and off. Powerful magnets rotate on ball bearing shafts for increased coupling and continuous maintenance free service. Polyurethane drive belts resist humidity and temperature.
