Sealing Film

ThermalSeal 2 and ThermalSeal Advanced feature a soft, extra thick, conformable adhesive that forms a very strong seal around raised wells to minimize evaporation and cross-contamination. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Ideal for use with flat-top, semi-skirted and full-skirted PCR plates. Compatible with hard-shell dual component (e.g. polycarbonate/polypropylene) PCR plates. Non-Sterile. AlumaSeal CSTM sealing films are specially formulated 50 µm aluminum foil sealing films. With a 50 µm layer of acrylic adhesive that withstands cold storage at temperatures to -80 °C. AlumaSeal CS sealing films are not recommended for PCR or thermocycling. A single non-perforated end tab simplifies application. Simply hold the tab and strip the backing from the body of the sealing film as it lays on the plate to avoid curling. Dimensions are 82.6 by 132.6 mm, including the single 9.5 mm end tab. AlumaSeal CS sealing films are certified DNase-, RNase-, and nucleic-acid-free. Specially formulated for cold storage to -80 °C. Excellent barrier properties to retard evaporation. BrightMax is a white, light-reflecting, vinyl film that can be applied to either the top or bottom of the white plate. The light reflective properties on clear-bottom plates maximize the sensitivity of bioluminescence and chemiluminescence assays in bottom-reading luminometers. Maximizes intensity and signal-to-noise ratios in luminescence assays. May be used as a backing matrix for microscopy of punchout samples for filter plates (e.g. ELISPOT assays). ThermalSeal RTS provides an extremely strong seal to minimize evaporation.. Features a pressure-activated, non-tacky, silicone adhesive. The silicone adhesive is non-tacky until pressure is applied to the sealing surface which then creates a secure bond around the wells and perimeter of the plate. Also ideal for dry samples (e.g. soil, seeds, insects, etc.) because the non-activated adhesive above the wells remains non-tacky. A roller or sealing paddle is highly recommended for use with this product to ensure consistent and adequate pressure is applied during the sealing process. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Chemically resistant to DMSO, acetonitrile, and methanol. Ideal for use with flat-top, raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates. High optical clarity and low auto-fluorescence. (1 per EA)

SealPlate MiniStrips sealing films are identical to SealPlate films above, but designed for sealing only one or two 8-well rows at a time on either strip-well or standard plates whenever rows must be selectively protected or accessed. Each MiniStrips film is 19.0mm x 103.2mm, including two positioning tabs. The long dimension with the tabs removed is 82.6mm. MiniStrips are supplied in sheets of four from which strips can be peeled individually or two-at-a-time for application to plates. Sterile product is packaged in 200µm tamper-evident bags of 200. X-Pierce film is designed for short-term processing and storage of samples that require multiple access to wells by pipet tips or robotic probes. Provides resealability and easy access without pipet tip coring or adhesive fouling. A pre-cut “X” over each well creates bendable flaps that provide sample access without coring or adhesive fouling of tips or probes. Ideal for COVID-19 sample collection in deep-well plates using swabs. Printed circles aid in the alignment of the film to the plate. Printed alphanumerics identify each well of a 96-well plate.
