Sealing Film

For sample identification and plate labeling. Each end-tab features a colored dot and white wring area. An inscribed color-coded end-tab can be removed and pasted into a laboratory notebook while the other remains on the plate for identification. The film sheet can be removed from the plate without disturbing the identification label due to the finely perforated end-tabs. Provides a secure seal and is easy to remove. An economical, efficient way to rapidly seal microplates; faster than applying single sheeted foils. Self-standing, non-slip supports hold pre-scored foil roll securely in place for quick and easy dispensing. Removal from a continuous backing liner minimizes curl making FoilSeal easier to handle and apply. Liner can be torn off or fed directly into a waste basket for disposal. AbsorbMax is a black vinyl film that can be applied to either the top or bottom of the black plate. Minimizes background fluorescence and cross talk between plate wells. Ideal as a back seal for black plates with clear well bottoms for top reading measurements. Absorbs stray light, reducing the background caused by light scatter. ThermalSeal RTS provides an extremely strong seal to minimize evaporation.. Features a pressure-activated, non-tacky, silicone adhesive. The silicone adhesive is non-tacky until pressure is applied to the sealing surface which then creates a secure bond around the wells and perimeter of the plate. Also ideal for dry samples (e.g. soil, seeds, insects, etc.) because the non-activated adhesive above the wells remains non-tacky. A roller or sealing paddle is highly recommended for use with this product to ensure consistent and adequate pressure is applied during the sealing process. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Chemically resistant to DMSO, acetonitrile, and methanol. Ideal for use with flat-top, raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates. High optical clarity and low auto-fluorescence. (100 per PK)

Sterile. AlumaSeal CSTM sealing films are specially formulated 50 µm aluminum foil sealing films. With a 50 µm layer of acrylic adhesive that withstands cold storage at temperatures to -80 °C. AlumaSeal CS sealing films are not recommended for PCR or thermocycling. A single non-perforated end tab simplifies application. Simply hold the tab and strip the backing from the body of the sealing film as it lays on the plate to avoid curling. Dimensions are 82.6 by 132.6 mm, including the single 9.5 mm end tab. AlumaSeal CS sealing films are certified DNase-, RNase-, and nucleic-acid-free. Specially formulated for cold storage to -80 °C. Excellent barrier properties to retard evaporation.
