The Bellco Mini Refrigerated Roll-In Incubator has 21 cubic feet of volume and is designed for use with Bellco’s Cell Production Roller Apparatus (CPRA) up to 2 decks high. The flush-to-floor design allows easy movement of the CPRA in and out of the chamber. Two internal convenience outlets allow simple connection for internally placed appliances such as CPRA, Roller Drums, Magnetic Stirrers, etc. Shelf brackets are included for mounting optional shelves to hold these appliances. Fans take air from the chamber top, pass it over the 1100 watt heater and inject it into the chamber on the bottom back wall. When the refrigeration mode is active, the air is cooled using a thermoelectric cooler. A microprocessor temperature controller and membrane keypad allows simple setting and monitoring of chamber temperature. The control panel contains indicator lights and dials for controlling temperature. A safety thermostat is included to prevent over-temperature failures. The Bellco Top Drive Roller Apparatus has been designed for production of animal cells, viruses and cell products. The unit accommodates 53 bottle positions with over 85,000 cm2 of surface area. Rollers have a key design to eliminate slipping and are easily removable for servicing of bearings. Rollers are formulated from a chemical-resistant non-slip EDPM. The Bellco Economy Roller Apparatus is a variable speed two or four bottle roller apparatus used for the purpose of producing animal cells or cell products. This small sized unit is ideal for experimental and pilot-scale cell culture. Methods developed on this unit can easily be scaled up using the same technology to production sized units with a capacity of 90, 100 or 172 bottles. Bellco’s full size modular units can be increased in capacity in 10 bottle increments as well. The unit features a heavy-duty DC motor and solid-state electronics for reliable operation. The Bellco Mini Tube Roller is a variable speed roller unit for general laboratory usage. The compact size is ideal for experimental and pilot-scale operations. Methods developed on this unit can easily be scaled up. Robustly constructed and designed for easy cleaning, with EPDM rubber rollers to assure safe positive rotating motion. The unit has 11 rollers, five of which can be removed to accommodate various bottle dimensions. When using hybridization tubes, an o-ring (A12-1067) must be fitted on the lower end to equalize the diameter of the screw cap.
