The Bellco Sci/ERA Cell Production Roller Apparatus has been designed for production of mammalian cells, viruses and cell products. Non-modular production units come in 45 and 50 bottle positions with over 80,000 cm2 of surface area. All units feature a solid state control with heavy-duty DC motor and digital tachometer. All Position Drives are for use with plastic roller bottles to prevent slipping of the light-weight bottles. A Stand-By Drive and Alarm System provides motion and power failure alarms and has a backup drive system that automatically drives the unit should the original fail. (1 per EA )

The Bellco Rocker Platforms provide a gentle uniform rocking motion, required for even coverage of media over mono-layer cell cultures, thereby maximizing cellular health and viability. Viral suspensions introduced onto a mono-layer of cells will yield higher virus titers. Additionally, rocker platforms are ideal for performing staining and destaining of gel and filter assays. They are engineered to operate between 0 to 12 oscillations per minute. Units are delivered with either a 25 x 25 cm or 51 x 51 cm tray. Bellco CO2 Incubators have 40 cubic feet of volume and are designed for use with Bellco's Cell Production Roller Apparatus (CPRA). One internal convenience outlet on top allows simple connection to internally placed appliances such as CPRA, Roller Drums, Magnetic Stirrers, etc. Fans take air from the chamber top, pass it over the 1100 watt heater and re-inject it into the chamber on the back wall. A microprocessor temperature controller and membrane keypad allows simple setting and monitoring of chamber temperature. A safety thermostat is included to prevent over-temperature failures. Shelf brackets are included for mounting of optional shelves. A microprocessor CO2 controller allows simple setting and monitoring of chamber CO2 level. The control panel features indicating lights and dials for automatic control of temperature. (1 per EA )

The Bellco Brushless Digital Roller Drum Drive is an all purpose roller drum for blood, tissue culture, cells and virus applications. The standard speed ranges are 0.5 to 15 and 2 to 60 RPM with other speed ranges available as custom items. Four drums are available with capacity of 164 or 351 tubes of 16 mm diameters, 156 tubes of 25 mm diameter or 128 tubes for most 50 ml conical bottom centrifuge tubes. The Bellco Process Controlled Top Drive Roller Apparatus has a capacity of either 53 or 86 full size glass or plastic roller bottles (110 to 120 mm diameter and up to 510 mm in length), depending upon model. The unit features a brushless DC motor and controller that operate at bottle speeds ranging from 0.3 to 9.0 rpm with the ability to select clockwise or counter clockwise direction. Four corner bumpers and two locking castors (on the front wheel positions) are also provided. Rollers are easily removed for replacement by using the special tool provided with each unit. All-Position Drive facilitates the use of lightweight plastic roller bottles by ensuring rotation at each bottle station, independent of any load configurations.
