The Bellco Process Controlled Top Drive Roller Apparatus has a capacity of either 53 or 86 full size glass or plastic roller bottles (110 to 120 mm diameter and up to 510 mm in length), depending upon model. The unit features a brushless DC motor and controller that operate at bottle speeds ranging from 0.3 to 9.0 rpm with the ability to select clockwise or counter clockwise direction. Four corner bumpers and two locking castors (on the front wheel positions) are also provided. Rollers are easily removed for replacement by using the special tool provided with each unit. All-Position Drive facilitates the use of lightweight plastic roller bottles by ensuring rotation at each bottle station, independent of any load configurations. A fused power inlet module makes fuse replacement easy and also permits the user to completely disconnect the power cord when the unit is cleaned or relocated. (1 per EA )

Rollers have a key design to eliminate slipping and are easily removable for servicing of bearings. Rollers are formulated from a chemical-resistant non-slip EDPM. All units incorporate a solid state control with a brushless motor and controller, providing smooth operation and easy maintenance. All units feature rubber bumpers, handles, a slotted rear guard, and All Position Drive. The All Position Drive is designed to accommodate plastic roller bottles by preventing the slipping of the light-weight bottles. An optional Motion Alarm System provides audible and visual alarms should the primary fail. (1 per EA )

Non-modular production units come in 45 and 50 bottle positions with over 80,000 cm2 of surface area. Rollers have a key design to eliminate slipping and are easily removable for servicing of bearings. Rollers are formulated from a chemical-resistant non-slip EDPM. The Bellco Rocker Platforms provide a gentle uniform rocking motion, required for even coverage of media over mono-layer cell cultures, thereby maximizing cellular health and viability. Viral suspensions introduced onto a mono-layer of cells will yield higher virus titers. Additionally, rocker platforms are ideal for performing staining and destaining of gel and filter assays. They are engineered to operate between 0 to 12 oscillations per minute.
