The Bellco Process Controlled Overhead Drive is a versatile direct-drive agitator for cell culture and most aseptic mixing applications. The Overhead Drives were developed to eliminate the problem of magnetic agitator decoupling often observed in large volume mixing and the stirring of solutions with a viscosity greater than water. The Overhead Drives feature brushless, maintenance-free DC motors with drive assemblies designed for quiet operation. Both units are powered by standard 24V wall mounted power supplies and are CE compliant. The Bellco Cell Production Roller Apparatus has been designed for production of animal cells, viruses and cell products. Modular units are available from 5 to 45 bottle positions and allow easy expansion with modular add-on decks. Non-modular production units come in 45 and 50 bottle positions with over 80,000 cm2 of surface area. Rollers have a key design to eliminate slipping and are easily removable for servicing of bearings. Rollers are formulated from a chemical-resistant non-slip EDPM. All units feature a solid state control with heavy-duty DC motor and analog tachometer. Non-modular production models feature rubber bumpers, handles and a slotted rear guard. (1 per EA )

The Bellco Sci/ERA Cell Production Roller Apparatus has been designed for production of mammalian cells, viruses and cell products. Non-modular production units come in 45 and 50 bottle positions with over 80,000 cm2 of surface area. All units feature a solid state control with heavy-duty DC motor and digital tachometer. All Position Drives are for use with plastic roller bottles to prevent slipping of the light-weight bottles. A Stand-By Drive and Alarm System provides motion and power failure alarms and has a backup drive system that automatically drives the unit should the original fail. (1 per EA )

The Bellco Rocker Platforms provide a gentle uniform rocking motion, required for even coverage of media over mono-layer cell cultures, thereby maximizing cellular health and viability. Viral suspensions introduced onto a mono-layer of cells will yield higher virus titers. Additionally, rocker platforms are ideal for performing staining and destaining of gel and filter assays. They are engineered to operate between 0 to 12 oscillations per minute. Units are delivered with either a 25 x 25 cm or 51 x 51 cm tray.
