Before ordering a shaker part, match it to your shaker's make and model and its load rating. Many listings name the units they fit, such as the SCILOGEX 2.5 kg and 7.5 kg linear/orbital shakers, the SCI-RL-E and SCI-RD-E rotators, and GTR-IA or GTR-HA series tube rotators, so compare those names with the label on your unit. Size flask clamps to the flask volume, check that a platform's dimensions fit the shaker deck, and add up the weight of platform, clamps and filled vessels to stay within the rated capacity. For tube holders and blocks, confirm the tube size and the number of positions you need.

What accessories do lab shakers need?
Most shakers need a platform plus something to hold vessels on it. Common choices are flask clamps sized to each flask volume, universal platforms with adjustable clamping bars, tube racks and tube holder clips, sticky or dimpled mats that hold vessels by friction, and stacking platforms for extra capacity. Covers, trays and replacement parts such as bungee cords or clamping bars keep an existing shaker in service.
How do I choose the right flask clamp size?
Flask clamps are made for a specific Erlenmeyer flask volume, such as 125 mL, 500 mL or 2 L, and a clamp should hold the flask snugly at its base. Check whether the clamp mounts to your platform with screws or another system, and how many of that size fit on the platform. A universal platform with adjustable bars is an alternative when you run many different flask sizes.
How do I know if a shaker part fits my model?
Check the model number on your shaker's label and compare it with the models named in the part's description. Parts are often made for one platform size or one series of rotators, and clamps and holders may use a mounting pattern specific to the manufacturer. If the listing does not name your model, contact the seller with the model and serial number before ordering.
