AlumaSeal II is a soft non-permeable aluminum foil with a strong, medical-grade acrylic adhesive. Easy-to-pierce for direct sample recovery. Has less tendency to roll back on itself when removing the backing paper. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Excellent chemical resistance (e.g. DMSO). Roll Seal. AlumaSeal provides a secure seal for well plates to minimize evaporation, reduce cross-contamination and prevent spillage. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Sterile. AlumaSeal CSTM sealing films are specially formulated 50 µm aluminum foil sealing films. With a 50 µm layer of acrylic adhesive that withstands cold storage at temperatures to -80 °C. AlumaSeal CS sealing films are not recommended for PCR or thermocycling. A single non-perforated end tab simplifies application. Simply hold the tab and strip the backing from the body of the sealing film as it lays on the plate to avoid curling. Dimensions are 82.6 by 132.6 mm, including the single 9.5 mm end tab. AlumaSeal CS sealing films are certified DNase-, RNase-, and nucleic-acid-free. Specially formulated for cold storage to -80 °C. Excellent barrier properties to retard evaporation. BrightMax is a white, light-reflecting, vinyl film that can be applied to either the top or bottom of the white plate. The light reflective properties on clear-bottom plates maximize the sensitivity of bioluminescence and chemiluminescence assays in bottom-reading luminometers. Maximizes intensity and signal-to-noise ratios in luminescence assays. May be used as a backing matrix for microscopy of punchout samples for filter plates (e.g. ELISPOT assays). ThermalSeal RTS provides an extremely strong seal to minimize evaporation.. Features a pressure-activated, non-tacky, silicone adhesive. The silicone adhesive is non-tacky until pressure is applied to the sealing surface which then creates a secure bond around the wells and perimeter of the plate. Also ideal for dry samples (e.g. soil, seeds, insects, etc.) because the non-activated adhesive above the wells remains non-tacky. A roller or sealing paddle is highly recommended for use with this product to ensure consistent and adequate pressure is applied during the sealing process. Certified DNase- & RNase- free.
