The Bellco Top Drive Roller Apparatus has been designed for production of animal cells, viruses and cell products. The unit accommodates 53 bottle positions with over 85,000 cm2 of surface area. Rollers have a key design to eliminate slipping and are easily removable for servicing of bearings. Rollers are formulated from a chemical-resistant non-slip EDPM. All units incorporate a solid state control with a brushless motor and controller, providing smooth operation and easy maintenance. All units feature rubber bumpers, handles, a slotted rear guard, and All Position Drive. The All Position Drive is designed to accommodate plastic roller bottles by preventing the slipping of the light-weight bottles. The Bellco Benchtop Mini Orbital Shakers are ideal for both rigid polystyrene and flexible polyvinyl 96-well micro tube plates commonly used in cell culture, virology, immunology and serology. They are engineered to operate between the speed range of 50 to 1550 rpm and have a 100 second timer for reproducing mixing times or can be used in continuous operation. The true orbital motion results in increased mixture homogeneity compared with oscillating or vibrating shakers. The Bellco Process Controlled Bottom Drive Roller Apparatus holds up to 50 (see specifications below) full size glass or plastic roller bottles (110 to 120 mm diameter and up to 510 mm in length). The unit features a brushless DC motor and controller that operate at bottle speeds ranging from 0.3 to 9.0 rpm with the ability to select clockwise or counter clockwise direction. The pitch and speed of the ENDURO™ MiniMix are fixed to provide the optimal conditions for processing western blots and staining gels. The tilt angle is large enough to provide thorough distribution of solutions, yet small enough to keep the center of the blot from drying out. Minimal amounts of solution can be used, conserving valuable probes and antibodies. The mixer is supplied with a non-slip rubber mat to help keep boxes in place on the platform. The housing and platform are easy to clean and decontaminate when needed. For temperature controlled incubations, the ENDURO™ MiniMix may be used in a cold room or an incubator. The unit is lightweight and compact and easily moved where needed. Labnet Blot Boxes™ are available in two sizes. The small blot boxes have a capacity for 3-5mL of solution and are perfect for mini protein gels, such as those used in the Enduro™ Mini PAGE System.
