For antimicrobial susceptibility testing of non-fastidious bacteria by utilizing disk diffusion sensitivity method (Kirby-Bauer). This is the smaller Mueller Hinton plate that will hold up to five antimicrobial disks. Features: See "HardyDisks AST" for a complete selection of Hardy's antibiotic disks for Kirby-Bauer testing. Compatible with common BD disk dispensers. Also see our McFarland standards, dilution broths, and calipers for AST. Polystyrene Petri plates feature raised rings for stacking ability and prevents sliding. Packaged in sleeves of 10 plates in a "breathable" celluose bag that prevents build-up of condensation and excess moisture.
