LabExact® HandiPrep™ is a compact filtration device designed to shorten sample preparation workflows while improving recovery from limited sample volumes. The device is capable of filtering high-viscosity fluids ranging from 1 to 10,000cps with output retention of 1–2µm, making it effective for clarifying heavily precipitated suspensions without the need for external syringe filters. HandiPrep™ provides high recovery through low hold-up volume and replaces multiple preparation steps that traditionally require serial filtration through decreasing porosities, reducing processing time and sample loss. Cleanup and preparation time are minimized while mitigating cross-contamination risk. The device is suitable for clarifying viscous fluids such as oils, fuels, extracts, and dilute creams or pastes and is available in five filter-syringe configurations with four filter media types compatible with aqueous and non-aqueous samples, subject to chemical compatibility.
