(-)-Isoproterenol Hydrochloride causes the relaxation of bronchial muscle by acting on beta2-adrenergic receptors. It also causes positive chronotropic effects on the heart by increasing cardiac output. In skeletal muscles, it lowers peripheral vascular resistance.
