Polypropylene construction withstands temperatures down to -196°C Sterilized by gamma radiation Certified non-pyrogenic Non-pyrogenic vials are ideal for use cryogenic workstations, racks and trays and come in a variety of capacities. Internal and external thread vials are available. Both feature secure closures, easy-to-read graduations and a large marking spot. Color inserts may be used for quick and easy sample identification. Internal thread vials have a silicone washer or rubber O-ring. External thread vials have a silicone washer. Self-standing vials have special base design that allows them to be locked into 5151K53 workstations for single-handed manipulation. All vials are certified RNase/DNase free. WARNING! Do not use cryogenic vials for storage in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen. Only store vials in the vapor phase above the liquified gas. Always use appropriate safety equipment when removing vials from cryogenic storage.
