    Macherey-Nagel, Inc.

    $34.30

    Special Price $33.52

Pack Size: box of 100 strips Hazard Class /UN Number: Not Restricted Storage Temp: Room Temperature Test sticks for the semi-quantitative determination of hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) and peroxides in solutions Gradation of scale: 0-0,5-2-5-10-25 mg/l H 2 O 2 white to blue QUANTOFIX® « Peroxide is also suited for the determination of other inorganic and organic hydroperoxides. For the determination of hydroperoxides in organic solvents the test field is moistened with a drop of water after evaporation of the solvent. Between pH 2 and 9 the reaction is independent of the pH value of the test solution. Strongly acidic solutions should be buffered with sodium acetate, alkaline solutions are adjusted to pH 5 - 7 using citric acid. Strong oxidizing agents interfere. Learn More
  2. QUANTOFIX EDTA, PK/100

    Macherey-Nagel, Inc.

    $35.30

    Special Price $34.53

Pack Size: box of 100 Hazard Class /UN Number: Not Restricted Storage Temp: Room Temperature Gradation of scale: 0 - 100 - 200 - 300 - 400 mg/l EDTA Learn More
  3. Chromium test paper ,see Quantofix Chromate 91301 as an alternative, Hazardous

    Macherey-Nagel, Inc.

    $35.60

    Special Price $34.77

Pack Size: box of 200 strips Hazard Class /UN Number: Not Restricted Storage Temp: Room Temperature This test paper shows violet spots on a white background upon application of solutions containing chromium. The reaction is based on the presence of chromium as chromate. Cr 3+ ions must be converted to chromate. Interferences caused by mercury salts or molybdates are readily circumvented. Limit of sensitivity: 2 mg/l Cr 3+ corresponding to 5 mg/l chromate Note: Non-destructive tests for the detection of chromium in metal alloys are carried out as follows: Apply a drop of a proper acid solution (1 part hydrochloric acid 37 % + 4 parts hydrogen peroxide 3 %) to the degreased steel surface, wait 10 to 30 seconds, add some drops of sodium hydroxide solution and cover the precipitate with filter paper. Press the chromium test paper on top of the filter paper. In the presence of chromium, a violet spot appears when the test paper is bathed in dilute sulphuric acid.Limit of sensitivity: 0.1 % Cr *TEST PROCEDURE IS INTRICATE, PRODUCT NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE BY NON CHEMIST* REQUEST TEST PROCEDURE PRIOR TO ORDERING. Chromium test paper *TEST PROCEDURE IS INTRICATE, PRODUCT NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE BY NON CHEMIST* REQUEST TEST PROCEDURE PRIOR TO ORDERING (see QUANTOFIX® Chromate 91301 as an alternative) *Additional reagents are required to perform this test, they are not included with this item. 4. Aluminum test paper /Also Zirconium test paper - see Quantofix Aluminum 91307 , PK/100 strips

    Macherey-Nagel, Inc.

    $35.60

    Special Price $34.77

Pack Size: box of 100 strips Hazard Class /UN Number: Not Restricted Storage Temp: Room Temperature This test paper shows bright red spots on a yellow background in the presence of aluminium ions (Al 3+ ). Fe, Zn, Cu and Mn interfere with the determination of aluminium. Under certain reaction conditions aluminium test paper can be used for the determination of zirconium. Limit of sensitivity: 10 mg/l Al 3+ *TEST PROCEDURE IS INTRICATE, PRODUCT NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE BY NON CHEMIST* REQUEST TEST PROCEDURE PRIOR TO ORDERING * Instruction Sheet For semi-quantitative determination of Aluminum see Quantofic Aluminum Ref 91307. Aluminum test paper **Also Zirconium test paper *TEST PROCEDURE IS INTRICATE, PRODUCT NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE BY NON CHEMIST* REQUEST TEST PROCEDURE PRIOR TO ORDERING *Additional reagents are required to perform this test, they are not included with this item. 5. Aquadur, PK/100 strips

    Macherey-Nagel, Inc.

    $35.60

    Special Price $34.93

Pack Size: box of 100 strips Hazard Class /UN Number: Not Restricted Storage Temp: Room Temperature Test sticks for determination of the water hardness. The hardness of water depends on its content of calcium and magnesium salts. When measuring the total hardness, the sum of these salts is determined. Gradation of scale: <55 · >90 · >180 · >270· >360 · >445 ppm Learn More
  6. QUANTOFIX Nitrite 3000, PK/100 strips

    Macherey-Nagel, Inc.

    $33.50

    Special Price $32.80

Pack Size: box of 100 strips Hazard Class /UN Number: Not Restricted Storage Temp: Room Temperature Test sticks for the semi-quantitative determination of high concentrations of nitrite (NO 2 ) in solutions Gradation of scale: 0-0.1-0.3-0.6-1-2-3 g/l NO 2 yellow to red Between pH 2 and 12 the reaction is independent of the pH value of the test solution. Adjust strongly acidic solutions with dilute sodium hydroxide solution and strongly alkaline solutions with dilute sulphuric acid to a pH of about 4 to 6. Store nitrite test sticks in a cool and dry place, protected from sunlight and moisture. Learn More
  7. DUOTEST pH 9.5-14.0 REFILLS, PK/3 rolls only

    Macherey-Nagel, Inc.

    $35.00

    Special Price $34.16

Pack Size: box of 3 rolls only Hazard Class /UN Number: Not Restricted Storage Temp: Room Temperature Learn More
  8. QUANTOFIX Carbonate hardness, PK/100 strips

    Macherey-Nagel, Inc.

    $35.80

    Special Price $34.93

Pack Size: box of 100 strips Hazard Class /UN Number: Not Restricted Storage Temp: Room Temperature Test sticks for the semi-quantitative determination of the carbonate hardness Carbonate hardness is that part of the total hardness resulting from the content of alkaline earth ions, which are equivalent to the carbonate and hydrogen carbonate ions present in the water. Thus the carbonate hardness is the portion of the total hardness which contributes to the formation of alkaline earth carbonates (boiler scale). Gradation of scale: 0-3-6-10-15-20 â–‘d light green to blue Strong bases -or other acid-consuming substances cause false results. Learn More
  9. Iron test paper, PK/100 strips

    Macherey-Nagel, Inc.

    $35.60

    Special Price $34.77

Pack Size: box of 100 strips Hazard Class /UN Number: Not Restricted Storage Temp: Room Temperature This test paper is used for the rapid detection of iron ions (Fe 2+ and Fe 3+ ). These ions form brownish-red spots on a yellowish-white background. Mn, Mo, Ti and vanadium, if present as the cation, interfere. Interferences caused by Mn, Mo and Ti can be circumvented, however, not the interference caused by V. After prolonged storage the sensitivity may decrease. In this case wait 1 to 5 seconds for evaluation. Limit of sensitivity: 10 mg/l Fe 2+ or Fe 3+ Instruction Sheet Note: For specific detection of iron(II) (Fe 2+ ) we recommend our dipyridyl paper. (For semi-quantitative test see Ref 91344 or 91330, QUANTOFIX® Iron) Learn More
